To increase security and protect the content of your documents, we have enabled the option to insert a "Watermark" (such as your company logo) in document templates.
This watermark will appear in the background of all pages of the final PDF document, discouraging content alteration.
How to set up the Watermark?
The document administrator can add the watermark directly from the template editor:
- Go to your Document Templates settings.
- Within the template editor, look for the newWatermarkicon in the toolbar.
- Clicking it will open an option toupload an imagefrom your computer.
- Once the image is uploaded, it will be automatically applied to the template.
- You can see the result in thePDF Preview. The watermark will also be visible to all signers once the document is generated.
How to remove the Watermark?
To remove an existing watermark, simply go to the same option in the editing toolbar and select the trash can to delete it.
Important Considerations
The feature has predefined default settings to ensure optimal operation:
- Allowed Files:You can only upload images in.jpg,.jpegor.pngformat.
- Maximum Size:The image size must not exceed300 KB.
- Dimensions:A width between 500-800 px and a height between 300-600 px is recommended.
- Fixed Position:The image will always be insertedcentered. You will not be able to change its position.
- Fixed Opacity:The opacity (transparency) is set by default at 20% and cannot be changed.
- Fixed Orientation:The orientation of the image cannot be changed.
- Other Restrictions:You cannot insert an image from a URL or enhance the image quality once it has been uploaded.
